WANTED: A Link Trainer.



Hello Everyone!
Summer is nearly half over, and we are having a wonderful time. Thank you to all the people who have come to visit us already, and we hope that more of you come visit.
Currently, We at the museum are looking for an artifact an need your help. We are looking for a Link Trainer, like the one pictured, for our Johnson Flying Service Display. During World War 2, JFS used one of these early flight simulators to train pilots in the Civilian Pilot Training Program. If anyone has a lead to one that may be for sale, please, let us know!!

SUMMER 2011

Hello Everyone!
After a winter of relative quite and inactivity, we at the Museum of Mountain Flying would like to welcome visitors to come visit us starting Memorial Day Weekend. Our hours of operation are 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM, 7 days a week.Please, come visit!
This Year marks a milestone in the museum's history, as well as the history of Missoula Montana. It has been 100 years since the first airplane flew here, planting the seeds for one of the most unique aviation histories in the world.
In other news and events, the Museum will be having its annual fundraiser on June 11. This fundraiser is a dinner with a guest speaker and a cash bar.   The party starts at 7:00pm. 

Prices per table/ten seats are $1000.00, and per place setting is $100.00
Also, on June 25-26 there will be celebrations of the First Flight in Missoula at the Fort Missoula Museum, and at the airport there will be several aircraft displays, including a water drop by the new FIREBOSS single engine fire bomber.
